Mark Williams tutored my son for AS Physics. He took Sam from a mock U grade in January to just 2 marks off an A only four months later. Most importantly, he alone turned Physics from a confusing chore Sam hated to his favourite subject.
I was very impressed with the tutor's preparation, homework activities and revision aids. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone. I just wish we had met him earlier.

Tutor EBS 2 Business Studies
I am an experienced Business Studies Teacher, having also been Head of Business and Enterprise faculty in a large midlands secondary school. I always take a positive and energetic approach to working with students and love to share with them my enthusiasm for Business. Prior to joining the teaching profession I worked in manufacturing for twenty years, primarily involved with recruitment, training and employee relations. I find my industrial experience really helps to support the academic content of the Business Studies course and enhances student learning. Student success is of paramount importance to me and my professional standards but I would like to think I achieve this with a caring approach – to quote from one of my students in a letter I received this summer.

Over the past two years your motivation and energy has encouraged and pushed me. Having such a happy, patient teacher like you has kept me motivated. I hope I did you proud’
She did do me proud and she did apologise for the cheesiness
Physics and Maths teacher PS2SR
I have taught physics and mathematics both up to 'A' level in West Midlands schools for more than 30 years. I have specialised in 'A' level physics
tuition for the last 10 years including all the main syllabuses, AQA, OCR and Edexcel. I have taught the 'Turning points in physics' option in the AQA
syllabus and have some familiarity with the Astro-physics, Medical physics and Telecommunications options.
I have also taught 'A' level mathematics in schools and in private tuition, my strengths are the pure and mechanics core parts of the syllabus.
I have provided private tuition in both subjects at KS3 and KS4 levels.
In my experience is that best progress is made when a regular focus of the lessons is on the achievements and problems associated with homework
set by the tutor in the previous lesson. This enables the tutor to carefully identify the problems of understanding in the student's appreciation of the
subject. I sometimes use physics animations from websites to strengthened a student's understanding of physics.
I visit the student in his/her own home and I am available evenings and Sundays in the Erdington/Sutton Coldfield area.
I enclose feedback from a parent Keshan Pillay for a lesson I conducted with her son who is studying A2 AQA physics.
